Nigerians told to near God to overcome prevailing cercumstance.

To overcome the prevailing Challenges bedevilling the country, Nigerians have been urged to be humble and draw nearer to God,just as government have been asked to come up with measures to address the hardships on masses.
This statement was contained in a communique issued at the end of a three day Women confrence held at ST Matthew Anglican Church GRA Bida, Diocese of Anglican communion recently.
The theme of this year’s confrence which is tittle”DRAW NEAR TO GOD” admonished Nigerians particularly Christian faithful to meditate on the word of God day and night in times like this to receive the grace and mercy of God.
The communique which was signed by the president of Women’s guild and Mother’s Union who is also the wife if the Bishop of Bida Diocese,Mrs.Janet M. Kolo said,”let us draw nearer to God by doing what is pleasing to him as stated in the scripture, ISAIAH 59:2,1 and Peter 5:7 by handling all our burden on him not to be mindful of the world .
it also reminded Nigerians that no matter highly placed God sees us and will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear therefore there is need to draw near to God, we need to clear and purify our hands like Pontius Pilate as illustrated in Matt 27: 24.
Having blood on our hands is not necessarily murder; it can imply betrayal and thoughts of our hearts. We must stay away from doing things that are against the principles of God’s Kingdom.
Mrs Janet further explained that, we cannot be near to God when we harbour bitterness, envy, selfishness,should not be like Christians that our hearts are filled with evil thoughts, not double minded, adding that our thoughts and actions must be committed to doing the Will of God if we are to draw near to him.
She also reminded women of their roles from the beginning, God made them to be a helper to her husband through the Holy Spirit of God so that the husband can increase in every ramifications, urged them not to leave the training of children in the hands of their husband and teacher alone but should compliment as a wife.
“Women should learn how to communicate well, have a good relationship with others, work with wisdom, do away with friends who are gossips, know what is going on in the family and help in every aspect of the family life. Sanitation is the show way. A woman should serve her husband exclusively for he loves been honoured”.
Be neat, dress well and plait your hair regularly, use roll on and good perfume, invest in knowledge above all,women should intensity efforts in Foods needed for growth, metabolism, and tissue repairs and help resist diseases in children.
