NIGER APC STALWART CAUTIONS OUTGOING GOVERNOR ON LAST MINUTE APPOINTMENT .

An All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart and patron of its presidential campaign council in Niger state, Alh Awaisu Giwa Wana has warned outgoing governor to desist from last minute actions that will undermine the incoming administration.

Alh Awaisu stated this during an interview with journalists in Minna, yesterday.

He said making last minute appointments and massive employments into the civil service were actions meant to cause unnecessary burden and undermine the incoming governors.

Alh Awaisu faulted the recent appointments made by governor Abubakar Sani Bello, adding that even the ongoing civil service recruitment was uncalled for.

He posited that the outgoing administration should have suspended all such actions at the twilight of their government and allowed the incoming administration make necessary decisions based on realities facing the state.

The APC stelwart also decried the lopsidedness in appointments in the state, pointing out that recent developments have shown that one section of the state was being favoured against others.

According to him, he said “you cannot deny the fact that this attitude of appointing people from a section of the state that controls political power at the detriment of other equal stakeholders, was deliberate. It is indeed deliberate and it won’t augur well for this state”.

Alh Awaisu Wana then called on the suspension of further action that will put incoming administration in the state in tight corner. He said the economic and social reality in Nigeria does not favour any government talkless of new ones coming on board.

“The economy is bad. The situation as we are talking is unpalatable. Adding burdens to an incoming government that is struggling to find its footing especially that there’s high and enormous expectations from the people, is nothing but wicked and totally uncalled for”, he bemoaned.
