THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN OUR HEROIC SUPPORTERS;

Even before Rt Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago was announced as the governor-elect of Niger State, by INEC, I have been drenched with congratulatory messages on all my social media handles and calls on my phone, and even solidarity visits, as if I was the one that stood for the election.

However, congratulatory messages from two of my Bosses, in the persons of Mallam Ndama Abubakar, former MD of Newsline Newspaper, and Mr. Olu Jacob, the former Editor and feature writing tutor of Newsline Newspaper before leaving us to join the NEXT Newspaper in Lagos, even though I refused to let him go, as I still consult, seek advice and plead with him to check and edit my works.

I have decided to make them public because, by Allah’s Grace, they both had hand in shaping my mind into that of a journalist, and their messages have touched my heart and given me a sense of graduation from their school.
Below are their messages to me.

“Congratulations on the victory of Hon Bago, as governor-elect. Because of your industry, contributions, perseverance, and sacrifices in the campaigns leading to this success, you can legitimately take personal pride in this outcome and enjoy it. May Almighty Allah help the winner, as he charts a new path to the growth and development of Niger State. May you also be suitably recognized and rewarded for your input in this outcome. Congrats! And best of luck”, Ndama Abubakar, former Managing Director of Newsline Newspaper.

While, Mr. Olu Jacob, my Godsent Editor/Tutor said “Congratulations on a well-fought victory my brother. You have proven yourself to be quite the media strategist, ardent and sagacious. Here’s wishing the Governor-elect a very successful tenure.”

I appreciate every comment from all of you, our heroic supporters who kept to your promise to deliver Rt Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago and State Assembly members, after delivering Sen. Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as our next president and our  National Assembly members, three weeks ago.

I want to thank every one of you for your support, advice, and prayers. Let me request you intensify your love, support, and prayers for our incoming governor to succeed.

He has been calling on Nigerlites to join hands with him to build a New Niger, the task is very easy to undertake but not without your cooperation for him to succeed.

Elections are over, let us eschew our political, ethnic, and religious differences and heed Bago’s call so that we can be “STRONGER TOGETHER ” to build a New Niger that even our children yet unborn will be proud of.

CONGRATULATION TO ALL NIGERLITES AND FRIENDS OF THE STATE.

Signed.
Hamza Waziri,
The Niger State Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee of the APC-PCC, and a member of the Bago Media and Publicity campaign council.
