Nationwide Protest: Senator Sani Musa calls for calm among Nigerians

Nationwide Protest: Senator Sani Musa calls for calm among Nigerians

The Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, has appealed to residents of Niger State and Nigerians to refrain from the ongoing nationwide hunger protest.
Senator Mohammed Sani Musa made the appeal in a press statement where he urged every citizen to exercise restraint and prioritise peace.
Senator Sani Mohammed Musa who is the Chairman, House Committee on Finance, advised the youths to channel their energy and frustration into constructive and peaceful endeavours.
“In these trying times, I address you with a heavy heart, lur beloved nation is facing a significant crisis marked by violence, arson, and killings in cities across Nigeria.
“This wave of destruction and loss of life is deeply troubling and must stop now.Our youths, who are the backbone of our future, must channel their energy and frustrations into constructive and peaceful endeavors.
“Violence only perpetuates a cycle of suffering and instability, undermining the progress we have worked so hard to achieve,” he said.
He appealed to all Nigerians irrespective of their differences to come together a one nation, united by common goal of a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
The Senator noted that dialogue, understanding, and cooperation are the paths Nigerians should take to address their grievances for a lasting solution.
He called on community leaders, parents, and young people to champion the cause of peace, adding that only through collective effort and mutual respect that Nigerians can rebuild  cities and heal the nation.
According to him, let us commit to turning this tide of violence into a movement for peace and positive change, together, we can overcome these challenges and secure a brighter future for all Nigerians.
