Controller General Nababa Condoles former Head of State Abdulsallam.

The Controller General of Correctional service, Haliru Nababa, has commisserates with the former Head of state and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Gen. Abdulsalami A Abubakar GCFR, CSG in his residence at uphill Minna, over the death of his younger sister, late Hajiya Salamatu Asabe Abubakar who passed away on Monday, 29th January, 2024 at a hospital in Abuja.
The CGCS, Haliru Nababa who was represented by the controller of Corrections, Niger state Command, CC Mohammed Hamisu Isa yesterday Tuesday, 30th January, 2024 prayed to Allah SWT in His infinite mercies to forgive the deceased shortcomings and Grant her Jannatil fir dausi.
CC Hamisu further prayed Almighty God to give His Excellency Gen Abubakar and the entire family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
CC Hamisu used the forum to extend the appreciation of the service to the ex Head of state for his continuous support and assistance to the Service particularly, indegent inmates in Custody.
Earlier, the Nation’s former Head of State and stateman Gen Abubakar thanked the CGCS Haliru for the visit and prayed Allah to reward him.
The controller was accompanied by his management team including the officers in charge Minna old and New medium security custodial centre.
Late Hajiya Salamatu Asabe Abubakar has since been buried in Minna according to Muslim rites.
