NISCOFED to Partners Niger State Govt achieve it set Objectives.
Niger state Government says it will partner Niger state Cooperative federation NISCOFED for the growth and development in the state.
The state Commissioner Ministry of Industry, trade, Investment and Private sector, Mr Aminu Suleiman Takuma stated this when he received delegation from NISCOFED on a courtesy visit in his office recently.
The Commissioner mentioned that his Ministry is ready and committed to work closely with the Federation to enable Government change the narratives of cooperatives in the state.
Mr Suleiman Takuma urged the Cooperative Federation to draw an action plan involving the ministry that would facilitates accessing intervention from development partners like GIZ.
He assured the Cooperative federation of the Ministry plan of reviving the centre handed over to it by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture to make it more vibrant in it Activities.
Earlier in his speech, the President Niger State cooperative Federation and National Vice President Cooperative Federation of Nigeria,Comrade Labaran Garba stated that the visit is to appreciate the Commissioner for his efforts, passion and interest exhibited at the last International Cooperatives Africa summit(ICA) held in Abuja and to also synergizes with the Ministry to enable the Federation achieve the set objectives.
Comrade Labaran Garba explained that the Federation is collating data of registered Cooperatives from across the twenty five Local Government in the State.
Speaking, the Chairperson of Endwell Board of Trustees, Hajiya Dije Bala sujjest a capacity training and sensitization for retirees on how to utilize what they have saved before retirement.
