NIGER GOVT.TO COLLABORATES UK TO SECURE FUNDING FOR OUT-OF-SCHOOL PROGRAMS.

NIGER GOVT.TO COLLABORATES UK TO SECURE FUNDING FOR OUT-OF-SCHOOL PROGRAMS.
In a bid to address the challenges faced by out-of-school children and to secure funding for educational initiatives, the Niger State Government has invited renowned UK-based consultant, Nkeiruka Ibraheem, to collaborate on scouting for grants and creating awareness for out-of-school programs.
Nkeiruka Ibraheem, who is the CEO NEASDEN COLLEGE, a leading consultant with expertise in education funding and program development, has been enlisted by the state government to provide strategic guidance and support in securing financial resources from international organizations and grant-making bodies. With a proven track record in successfully securing funding for various educational projects, her involvement is expected to bring invaluable insights and opportunities to the state.
During an interface with the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Hadiza Asabe Mohammed yesterday at the Ministry’s headquarters in Minna, Nkeiruka Ibraheem was introduced by Dr. Olusegun Okewo the CEO  LORDS PROMOTION as a key partner in the mission to improve access to education for all children in the state.
The Commissioner expressed optimism that Nkeiruka’s expertise and extensive network would play a significant role in attracting funding and resources for out-of-School programs.
In addition to scouting for funding, Nkeiruka will also be responsible for creating awareness and generating support for out-of-school programs where 30 Schools will be built within the 25 LGA of the state.
Through targeted campaigns, community engagement, and strategic partnerships, the consultant will work closely with local stakeholders to raise awareness about the importance of education and the available opportunities for out-of-school children.
The collaboration between the state government and Nkeiruka Ibraheem’s is part of a broader effort to tackle the issue of out-of-school children, which has been a persistent challenge in the state by leveraging Ibraheem’s expertise and international connections, the government aims to bridge the funding gap and implement effective programs that will ensure every child has access to quality education.
She expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to the state’s education sector drawing from her experience in the United Kingdom and other countries.
Nkeiruka Ibraheem will from next week will start on the Spot assessment of some of the Schools and communities in the State with a view to having face to face interaction with the communities and the Structures of the Schools.
The state government’s partnership with Nkeiruka Ibraheem is a testament to their commitment to providing equal educational opportunities for all children and their determination to secure the necessary resources to make this vision a reality.
Meanwhile, the Executive Governor is billed to visit United Kingdom first week of October where he will make a presentation at Oxford University London after which he will proceed to UK Parliament for discussions.
