Perm Sec MOF Commends electorates for the Show of maturity during Guber election in Shiroro LG.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance,Niger state,Alhaji Akilu Musa Kuta has described the Governorships and State Assembly elections in his polling unit and Kuta town the headquarters of Shiroro local government area as peaceful and transparent.
Alhaji Akilu Kuta stated this while casting his vote in central primary school Kuta where the polling unit is situated while commending INEC official for coming out for the exercise on scheduled.
He mentioned that despite the turn up of electorates is low,he is optimistic that the exercise is far better than the Presidential and National Assembly elections conducted some weeks ago according to him is going to yield positive results.
He stressed that the “electorates are exercising their civic responsibility,I appeals to those winner’s to be to improve on the existing security attitecture taking into considerations the security challenges in the area’.
He appeals to all Aspirants who contested in the election to accept the out come of the results in good faith adding that all Aspirants can not emmerges as winners, there must be a looser in every election.
“I want to make it clear that what GOD has destined that you are going to be must surely be,a winner should see it as act of GOD likewise the looser”adding that there is always another time for trial.
He then commends Youth’s and the entire electorates in the area for the show of maturity during the election exercise and urged them to keep it up.
